Annalina Benner ist eine Doktorandin am International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC), International PhD Programme Literary and Cultural Studies (IPP) sowie European PhDnet Literary and Cultural Studies an der Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen. In ihrem Dissertationsprojekt erforscht sie die Formen und Funktionen der Repräsentation von unterschiedlichen musikalischen Genres in der anglophonen Belletristik und die Entstehung neuer Formen von Intermedialität.
Arbeitstitel des Dissertationsprojekts: Modes of Representing Contemporary Music in Anglophone Fiction. Musical Thematization, Imitation, and Incorporation.
