Areas of Research: wind and photovoltaic power forecasting, machine learning, numerical weather
prediction, artificial intelligence and statistical methods for renewable energy forecasting.
2010–2013   Meteorologist, Center for Atmopheric Physics – Instituto de Meteorología, La Habana.
Areas of Research: numerical modeling; evaluation of numerical weather prediction models at
medium and short range; radar meteorology; artificial increase of rainfall.
