Women's Rally: Video Series
Women’s Rally of Geospatial Technologies - School of Water and Environment for Women: Video Series

In its first edition in Ecuador, the Women’s Rally of Geospatial Technologies - School of Water and Environment for Women was successfully held in November, empowering 60 rural women from across the country. The sessions took place in Cuenca (Andean region) and Tena (Amazon region), aimed at strengthening the leadership and participation of women in water and environmental management. This was achieved through hands-on training in the use of technology, geospatial tools, and efforts to reduce the gender digital divide, fostering problem-solving skills to address challenges within their communities.
This event was funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and coordinated by SDGnexus Network in collaboration with Universidad de Cuenca, Universidad Regional Amazónica Ikiam, the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), and the UNESCO Chair.
