About the Master Degree Program Sustainable Transition

The study program focuses on understanding agricultural and food systems' development and transition processes. Food systems are at the heart of many SDGs. Furthermore, the set-up of the Master Program Sustainable Transition contributes to achieving the SDGs by offering students worldwide the opportunity to obtain a Master degree without the need to be present in Giessen. Hence, it offers inclusive higher education and explicitly implements inclusive didactic scenarios. For this reason, courses are realized by a mixture of synchronous and asynchronous elements and by using several different educational technologies.
