Vita
Markus Grimm, born in 1978, studied political sciences, constitutional, social, and economic history as well as medieval and modern history at the Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms Universität Bonn, he also studied Italian; he studied at Università degli Studi di Perugia in 2001/2002, received his Magister Artium in 2005, and has been working on his doctoral thesis on the development of the Alleanza Nazionale since then.
Research Focus:
Comparison of the party systems in Europe, especially of Italy, Spain, and Germany; German-Italian relations; federalism and constitutional reform in Italy.
