Vita

Alexander Grasse, born in 1968, studied political sciences, German, and Italian at the universities of Giessen and Bari, he received his Staatsexamen (state examination) in 1995 and his doctorate (Dr. rer. soc.) in 2000; he received his Habilitation in political sciences in 2005; he conducted research and taught at the universities Milano Statale, Padova, Bologna, North Carolina State, Athens Panteion, and JLU Giessen. He is Clemens Maria Brentano Laureate of the German-Italian University Centre/Ateneo Italo-Tedesco.
