Slavic Studies at Justus Liebig University Giessen offers a targeted and modern education that combines linguistic, literary and cultural studies skills. Through close links with the history department, students acquire in-depth expert knowledge of Eastern Europe, which is further strengthened by integration into the research context of the Giessen Centre for Eastern Europe (GiZo). This opens up a wide range of perspectives in research, education, media, culture and international cooperation.
