Ukrainian Chemistry Students Visiting Justus Liebig University Giessen | Tue 01.10.2024

 

 
As part of the Bridge Program, supported by the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art, talented chemistry students from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" have begun an exciting internship at Justus Liebig University Giessen.
 
Under the guidance of our workgroup, participants gained valuable insights into research at the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology and expanded their scientific skills.
 
This international exchange project highlights the importance of cooperation and fostering young scientists – an inspiring example of boundless collaboration in the name of science!

Chantal Wins Poster Award at the Sodium Battery Symposium in Berlin | Thu 26.09.2024

 

From September 23 to 25, the fifth SBS Conference took place in Berlin Adlershof, Germany's largest science and technology park. With 32 invited lectures and 90 posters, discussions focused on leveraging resource-friendly sodium in rechargeable batteries based on the latest insights from basic and applied research. We are especially delighted that our workgroup was represented by Chantal, who won the Conference Poster Award and brought it home.
