Our Team Miriam Cindy Maurer, Tabea Steinbrinker, Philip Zaschke, Kristin Steinhaus, Dagmar Krefting and Anne-Christin Hauschild is pleased to announce our workshop: Exploring Explainable Artificial Intelligence Methods on Biosignals, which will be presented at MIE 2026.

The workshop focuses on explainable AI approaches for biosignal analysis, including electrocardiography (ECG), electroencephalography (EEG). We will give an introduction to biosignals and XAI, present a workflow on how to include explainability in biosignal analysis and give two hands on use cases, addressing important challenges such as interpretability, transparency, clinical trustworthiness, and the integration of AI-driven decision support into healthcare practice.

With this workshop, we aim to foster discussion and collaboration among researchers and practitioners working on reliable, interpretable, and clinically meaningful AI methods for medical signal analysis and digital health.

Looking forward to seeing you at MIE 2026!
