Isabella Kalte

About me

Isabella Kalte is a doctoral candidate at the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC). She studied in Frankfurt, Dresden and Potsdam. She works as a research assistant at the GCSC and coordinates the publications at the centre for which she is responsible for the publication series and advises PhD candidates in regard of publishing opportunities and printing costs. She is a member of the Editorial Team of the Open Access journal On_Culture and executive editor of the review journal KULT_online

Dissertation project: "Challenging Respectability: Narrative Strategies of Negotiating Caribbean Femininities and Resistance in Post-millennial Anglo-Caribbean Genre Fiction"
