Good writing is essential for academic success, but structuring clear and coherent paragraphs can be tricky. This workshop will give you practical strategies to make your writing more structured, logical, and engaging. We will cover key aspects like crafting strong topic sentences, making smooth transitions between ideas, and balancing evidence with analysis. Through hands-on exercises and peer feedback, you will get a chance to refine your writing and strengthen your academic voice. Please bring along passages from your own work where you are struggling with clarity or coherence—we will work through them together to find concrete ways to improve. The workshop is open to all GCSC and IPP members.
