Interview with the board member of the ZNE in the Magazin Tierrechte
An interview with Prof Ramona Teuber entitled ‘Wir brauchen eine Kulinarik der Zukunft’ (We need a cuisine of the future) has been published in the Magazin Tierrechte. In the interview, Prof Teuber talks about the challenges facing today's food systems and about a range of measures that represent possible solutions for transforming agricultural and food systems. These include, for example, the Planetary Health Diet with less meat and more fruit and vegetables, pulses and nuts, as well as the use of community catering as a lever to bring consumers closer to a healthy wholefood diet. It is important that ‘wholefood nutrition’ and ‘delight’ take centre stage and not ‘renunciation’ and ‘prohibition’. In other words: ‘We need a cuisine of the future’.
