Subgoal HF1 – 2.2.
JLU establishes a Digital Agriculture research focus with connections to the existing focus, potential, and accent areas. It thus pools its strengths in the field of agriculture and promotes innovation and connectivity of research projects in the long term.

A W2 chair on the topic of Digital Agriculture will have been established by 2027.
Indicator HF1 – 2.2.2.
By 2026, JLU will have accredited a new research-oriented degree program on information technology in agriculture and environmental science.
Indicator HF1 – 2.2.3.
By 2027, the Droughtspotter XXL system will have been equipped with digital infrastructure for fully automated experimentation and data acquisition.
