Disseminating the concept of MOST to the scientific community In spite of the recent progress in the field, MOST is a novel and less-known concept for solar energy conversion and storage within the relevant scientific communities. FOR MOST will aim at disseminating the concept and the current progress in the field to the scientific community.

Disseminating the concept of MOST at schools MOST technology does not only hold the potential to contribute to a future renewable energy system but also illustrates the potential of scientific progress and creative technologies in general. In FOR MOST, we will make use of this ideal showcase to motivate pupils to enter the field of science and technology.

Disseminating the concept of MOST to the public MOST is a concept that is only poorly known to the general public. FOR MOST will aim at disseminating the concept with two aims: To make the concept itself known better and, more generally, to create an increased awareness of the potential of scientific progress to tackle the challenges that are associated with the development of a sustainable energy system.

Technology transfer and start-ups In spite of the novelty of the concept and the lack of fundamental understanding, we believe that it is advantageous to develop fundamental and applied research in the field hand-in-hand. Therefore, FOR MOST will aim at gaining intellectual property (patents) wherever relevant, disseminating information to industry partners to initiate joint projects, and promoting the foundations of spin-offs at any stage of the project.
