02/06/2022 | Tutors’ Qualification: Live Session 3 – Workshop “Gamification: Teaching playfully with digital tools in (online) tutorial courses“ on June 13th, 2022

On June 13^th, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., Inês Gamelas, NIDIT team member and lecturer of the Tutors´ Qualification at the JLU, is going to host the workshop “Gamification: Teaching playfully with digital tools in (online) tutorial courses”. This workshop will be held in English and is directed at international tutors or students who wish to lecture tutorial courses in the near future. In this short workshop, tutors will be introduced to the basics of gamification. Besides discussing different gamified teaching approaches and various practical tips for effective gamified teaching, participants have also the opportunity to learn about different digital tools suitable for gamification moments in their tutorial courses. In the last part there will be a practical exercise, in which participants will be able to practice what they have learned. Are you interested in taking part? This session is the last one of our series of workshops (Live Session 3) of the tutors´ qualification programme. Our programme seeks to help international students with their integration on their role as young lecturers, supporting them in their (first) teaching experience as tutors and developing their didactical, communicational and intercultural skills.
