Management model of the Center for international Developement and Environmental Research (ZEU) (barrier-free version)

The model of the Center for international Development and Environmental Research (ZEU) illustrates the structure of the center. The members (at JLU) are composed of JLU professors, employees contracted at JLU, scholarship holders of ZEU projects at JLU and intern student assistants. ZEU members outside the JLU collaborate with the ZEU members at JLU. Furthermore, the ZEU members at the JLU configure the focus areas, which vote the speakers. The speakers in turn sends the counsil, which resolve the focus areas. ZEU members at JLU vote representative scientific and administrative staff, which send the council. They also vote the equal opportunity commissioner, which consults the council as well. The council appoints the executive board, which sends the council. The executive board is consulted by the managing director. The executive board is appointed by the ZEU members for 4 years and for 3 years by the ZEU members outside the JLU.
