Chair for Peace Studies
The Chair for Peace Studies at the University of Giessen focuses on the scientific analysis of peace processes and conflicts, issues of North-South relations, and development policy. The Chair's research focus is on the "Global South" and especially on Latin America. The Chair for Peace Studies in Giessen is also the founder of the German Colombian Peace Institute (CAPAZ), hence, its current focus to support the peace process in Colombia through research, teaching and knowledge transfer.

A5 / A45: at "Gambacher" motorway A45 towards Dortmund / Giessen.
