Just.Us + Tierschutz goes Podcast - Animal Welfare on Air

New Lecture Series: Just.Us + Tierschutz Goes Podcast - Animal Welfare on the Air

When do chicks start feeling pain during incubation? What about pain-free piglet castration? How long can an animal transport last? Is breeding animals with so-called "extreme" traits, like the French Bulldog, a violation of animal welfare laws? And what do Icelandic mares have to do with pig farming in Germany?

The questions surrounding the husbandry and use of animals are virtually endless. Supported by the Kogge Foundation, ICAR3R and the Chair of Laboratory Animal Science present a new audio format, Just.Us + Tierschutz Goes Podcast, which will bridge the gap between expert knowledge and public education, addressing these and other questions. In the spirit of the successful Just.Us + Tierschutz series, the podcast will convey animal welfare concerns from various professional perspectives and aims to engage both practitioners and all those interested in animal welfare.

Further information and the first episodes will be released shortly.
