GGK/GCSC plenary meeting and elections. The plenary serves as the forum where you can vote the representatives for various GGK/GCSC committees, i.e. the Directorate, the Graduate Students Committee, the Equal Opportunities Committee and GCSC Selection Committee. Furthermore, the plenary gives you the possibility to get the latest news about developments at the centre, and to give your personal feedback.

Whether Selection Committee, Board of Directors, Graduate Student Committee or Equal Opportunities Committee - for all these committees and contexts it is very important that our doctoral students and postdocs actively contribute to the interests and concerns of our members and thus set the course for GGK and GCSC to continue their positive development in the future. We would therefore like to draw your attention to the possibility of candidacy for the various GGK/GCSC committees. This applies to all committees, in which you are entitled to vote.

 

 

Becoming a member of GGK/GCSC committees provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in academic management and offers deeper insights into the processes of decision-making at the centre. If you are interested, please contact Piera Mazzaglia (curriculum@gcsc.uni-giessen.de). You can also state your interest in-person by visiting the Curriculum Office (Room 220) during office hours Mo-Wed.
