NOVAMEN, a brand of ACIES Consulting Group, supports strategic and operational management of collaborative research programs, originating from private and public stakeholders.

NOVAMEN offers to European research institutes, academic and industrial groups a set of services tailored to their needs. This includes the identification of suitable sources of funding, the analysis of R&D landscape and project portfolio, the design and building of proposals that address the specific requirements from various funding bodies, as well as the management both at strategic and operational levels, of cross-thematic, multinational and multicultural research projects.

NOVAMEN has developed in-depth expertise in strategic and operational management of joint research programs, with over 150 projects submitted to date to European funding programmes. Our funding success rate is three times higher than the European average across FP7. NOVAMEN is currently management Partner in 14 FP7 projects in the Health, KBBE, ICT, Transport and Energy themes. Team

Séverine Lacharme-Reichert works as a consultant at NOVAMEN since September 2012. She graduated at the University of Lyon in Applied Mathematics and Numerical Analysis in 2002. She spent then 5 years at the University of Heidelberg (Germany) as a fellow of the Applied Mathematics Institute focusing her research work on developing new mathematical models for industrial catalysis’ complex systems. Back in Lyon in 2007, she graduated at the Engineering School INSA Lyon and obtained a Master degree in Environmental and Industrial projects Management. In 2009 she entered the Regional Council Rhone-Alps as the coordinator of two European projects focusing on European  public policies’ good practices exchanges in the fields of eco-innovation in SME in one hand and climate change and mitigation of greenhouse gases in another hand.

Elise Castan is a project assistant at NOVAMEN. She graduated at the University of Cergy-Pontoise and obtained a degree in European affairs focusing on European grants. Her experience at the grants Office of Institut Curie in Paris gave her the opportunity to better understand the research community expectations in terms of funding. She supports Séverine in the management of the DeSScipher project.
