Welcome to the first Day of Developmental Psychology at JLU!
We warmly invite you to join us on September 4, 2025, for a special event: the Day of Developmental Psychology at Justus Liebig University Giessen. This event marks the celebratory conclusion of the scientific conference for the developmental psychology section and brings current research into dialogue with the public – engaging, accessible, and practice-oriented.
How do children learn? What role do emotions play in this process?
Answers to these and other questions will be explored in four fascinating talks presenting current research. These talks are aimed at people who support children's development – whether as parents, teachers, educators, or interested members of the public. Presented in an understandable and practical way, the talks offer food for thought, opportunities to learn more, and space for discussion.
At the same time, regional organizations, initiatives, and projects dedicated to supporting child development will be showcased in the foyer. Take the opportunity to connect, learn more about local resources – and engage in conversation!
