The JLU Gießen library system offers you a wide range of online literature databases in the field of economics. In addition, over 300 fact databases are accessible online independently of the subject area. You can find a complete overview in the Database Information System (DBIS).

Selected literature databases (recommendations)
- Business Source Premier is a database of the information provider EBSCO Information Service. It is a bibliographic database with full texts that are updated daily. Business Source Premier contains bibliographic references, abstracts and full texts from numerous scientific journals in business and economics.
- EconBiz is the Virtual Library of Economics. It is produced by the German National Library of Economics (ZBW), the world's largest library for economics. EconBiz also serves as the ZBW's catalog.
- EconLit is compiled by the American Economic Association and lists economic publications since 1969. Econlit covers the fields of economics, economic geography, economic history, economic policy, economic theory and, to a lesser extent, business administration.
- Nexis offers press, company and financial information, information on people from business, politics and current affairs, economic analyses, country reports and legal information. Articles from several thousand journals, magazines and newspapers are included on a daily basis (and retrospectively) and can be searched.
- wiso Wirtschaftswissenschaften is the largest German-language compilation of economic literature references.
