International Giessen Graduate School for the Life Sciences (GGL)

The
GGL provides an interdisciplinary, concisely structured graduate
program for all life science disciplines at the JLU, in the fields of Human and Dental Medicine, Veterinary
Medicine, Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition and Agriculture.
In the GGL, doctoral projects are embedded in topic-oriented
research sections. Admission is international, and teaching is carried out in English. In addition, the medical faculties offer a PhD programme.

 The topic of the third GGL Career Day is “Your Path into Industry”. It will take place on Feb. 15, 2012, in the Main Building of the JLU.
Top employers will introduce themselves and communicate individual entry options and career prospects in their respective companies. Presenters will discuss qualifications and careers paths for doctoral students in the life sciences with more information available at numerous information stands. You will be able to directly converse with PR representatives from the participating organizations. You will be able to introduce yourself personally, gain insight into the companies, and inquire about your individual career prospects.
