Prof. Ramona Teuber has been appointed as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for Agricultural Policy, Nutrition and Consumer Health Protection (WBAE) at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Home Affairs (BMLEH).
The WBAE is an independent, interdisciplinary advisory body that advises the BMLEH on policy development.
The WBAE’s specific tasks include:
- analysing the development of the agricultural and food system from a sustainability perspective,
- analysing the social and ethical requirements placed on the agricultural and food system,
- analysing and evaluating the development of rural areas,
- evaluating the objectives, measures and instruments of agricultural and food policy,
- developing proposals for the further development of agricultural policy.
