Student Assistant (Bioinformatics & AI Research)
We are seeking a motivated and curious Student Assistant to join our interdisciplinary research team at the intersection of bioinformatics, machine learning, and biomedical science.
Required Skills:
Strong background in bioinformatics and omics data analysis (genomics, transcriptomics, etc.)
Experience with machine learning and deep learning techniques, for instance Transfer Learning, Explainable AI, and Federated Learning
Proficiency in programming (Python, R) and data analysis tools
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation

Ideal Candidate:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, or Master’s program in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Computational Biology, or a related field
Team player with strong communication skills and enthusiasm for collaborative science
Location: Institute for Predictive Deep Learning for Medicine and Healthcare
Hours: Flexible (8–15 hours/week)
Start Date: Immediate
