DAAD-Language Test
If you need proof of your language level for a semester or internship abroad, then you have come to the right place. Foreign Languages offers DAAD language tests for English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese.
The DAAD test provides an approximate assessment of your language level for the purpose of applying for a semester or internship abroad. It does not replace the proof of a language proficiency test! If you would like to acquire a standardized certificate that is valid for all German universities and which you can also use to score points in job applications, you have the opportunity to take a UNIcert® course at our center.
An examination fee of € 20,- has to be paid for taking the DAAD test. The amount will be settled by SEPA direct debit on the 15th or the end of the month in which the test took place and will be collected from your account 14 days later.
Your test results will be noted on the DAAD-form.
The DAAD exam will also be a distance exam during the winter semester. The exam is offered every two weeks during the lecture period and once a month in the semester break.
The oral exam takes place in all languages via videoconference.
You can register up to 5 days before each exam date. External students should please contact Foreign Languages (sprachen) for remaining places.
