Sascha Kremer
‘Having completed my master's degree, I am now working as a PhD student in battery research. After that, I would like to move into the commercial sector, possibly in the field of data science. A role at the intersection of materials science, battery technology and technology development, or data science, would be very appealing to me.’
Mareike Länger
‘Both the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills were a great help to me in my first job at a company that develops test cells for lithium-ion batteries. In my current role, the ability to solve complex problems analytically and my general knowledge of various chemical analysis methods have proven particularly useful.’
Simon Burkhardt
‘My studies prepared me well for my PhD in physics, my postdoctoral position in physical chemistry, and also for my current job. I now work as a design engineer for lithium-ion battery cells at VARTA. Here, I still benefit from my interdisciplinary background, as I often have to meet a wide range of requirements at the material, process, product or device level.’
