Pre-University Courses (Bachelor's Taster Courses)
Video-based distance learning courses with the option of taking a final examination
- Prerequisites: none
- Acquisition of credit points (CP): possible through participation in a final examination
- Courses offered: Accounting (3 CP), Cost Accounting (3 CP), Accounting according to HGB (6 CP), Microeconomics I (6 CP)
- Suitable for: all prospective students who are not yet enrolled
- Language of instruction: German

Maths taster courses
Learning materials (exercises with explanations) without final examination
- Prerequisites: JLU Giessen student account ("s number") or advance access
- Acquisition of credit points (CP): not possible, participation is only for your own practice
- Courses offered: Maths taster for economics students, summer semester maths taster for economics students
- Suitable for: prospective students registered in the JLU application portal, first-semester students
- Language of instruction: German
