Collaborations funded by the state of Hesse

LOEWE-funded research consortia at JLU: centers and focal areas that strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration in Hesse.

Logo of the HMWKSince 2008, the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art has been running the LOEWE program  (Landes-Offensive zur Entwicklung Wissenschaftlich-ökonomischer Exzellenz), which is unique in Germany and now offers research funding options in a total of five funding lines. For collaborative research projects, scientists in Hessen can apply for LOEWE centers or LOEWE focal points following a corresponding call for proposals. The Hessian Ministry for the Environment, Climate Protection, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (HMUKLV) also offers further program-specific funding opportunities, e.g. as part of the Hesse Eco Action Plan.
