Course Content

The concept of the Labs for Innovative Teaching is intended to give teachers the opportunity to get to grips with new educational technologies, in particular virtual and augmented reality, and thus break down any fear of contact and barriers. The open workshop character, which is based on the concept of Makerspaces, Skills-Labs or Learning-Labs, plays a central role. Through such meeting places, where ideas can emerge and innovations can be developed, the awareness for new teaching and learning environments grows, which are characterized by the willingness for more flexibility, for trying things out, for a culture of mistakes and a hierarchy-free cooperation in dealing with digital technologies.

In this lunchtime impulse, the Labs for Innovative Teaching, which are funded in the joint project "NIDIT" by the Foundation Innovation in University Teaching, will be explained and the goals that are to be achieved in direct exchange with teachers will be shown. Participants are invited to share their own perspectives and discuss together the prerequisites for a meaningful and long-term implementation of such labs at the university.
