About me

As a researcher for the Smart Energy and Renewable Energy Carriers research groups, I work at the intersection of new energy sources and how we can integrate them into our classical grid. Together with my closest colleagues, I investigate topics such as hydrogen (solid oxide and anion exchange), distributed and predictive control, through research questions such as: “Which techniques can be used at what scale to produce hydrogen for € 2/kg?” and “How should smart grids be configured to reliably supply users with energy?”

We strive to pave this path in collaboration with companies, governments and educational institutions, so that our research directly benefits society. From research questions to test setups, students and companies, we strive to build a strong value chain. I graduated with an MSc in Electrical Engineering from TU/e, with a specialization in control systems and energy technology. In my spare time I enjoy bouldering and windsurfing.
