German-Catalan Conference at JLU Giessen

The Department of Romance Studies at Justus Liebig University Giessen teaches and researches in the fields of Hispanic, French and Portuguese Studies. Catalan topics play a role in Hispanic Studies courses as well as in those related to the situation of linguistic and cultural minorities. Even though Catalan Studies does not have its own independent roots here, it is a great pleasure for us to host the 29th Catalan Studies Day at the Department of Romance Studies at Justus-Liebig-University. We hope to be able to contribute to the normalization of Catalan and Catalan studies in German-speaking countries. The scientific expertise in the program design is guaranteed by the close cooperation with the scientific committee.
