Academic Qualifications
Andre Baumann studied Biological Chemistry at the TU Dortmund. He received his Master of Science degree for his work on "Hypertonicity-induced cation channels in human hepatocytes: Biochemical characterization of α-ENaC interaction partners". Since 2012 he is working as a graduate student at the Fraunhofer Project Group “Bioresources” on the production of recombinant insect cytochrome P450 monooxygenases for electroenzymatic synthesis processes. As part of his work he develops procedures for the immobilization of oxidoreductases on gallium nitride semiconductors.
