Academic Qualifications

Sandra Ditzler holds a degree in engineering in environmental biotechnology. She studied at the Fachhochschule Aachen and completed her graduate thesis entitled "Isolation and characterization of a novel extracellular phosphatase from the intestinal tract of the European lobster (Homarus gammarus)". Since 2011 she is a PhD student working on the topic of "Screening, Identification and recombinant expression of Insect enzymes for degrading necrotic tissue."
