Short Bio


 

Michael Hübler is an adjunct professor (apl. Prof.) at the Faculty 09 - Agricultural Sciences, Nutritional Sciences, and Environmental Management - of the Justus Liebig University Giessen. At this faculty, he had also a temporary W3 visiting professorship. Before, he was junior professor at the Institute for Environmental Economics and World Trade at the Leibniz University Hannover. Previously, he worked at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) in Mannheim, the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW). He received his doctoral degree (Dr. sc. pol.) from the University of Kiel. He studied industrial engineering (Dipl. Wirt.-Ing.) focusing on electronics and economics at the Technical University Darmstadt.
