Jean Pictet International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition

The Jean-Pictet International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition is the largest and most prestigious Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition. This year it is taking place in the end of March 2020.
The Competition exists of a series of different role-plays over the course of a week, with a final pleading at the end of the week. The team will consist of 3 students.
The manner in which the competition is laid out will allow for you to gain a new and more practical insight into the field of International Humanitarian Law. You will also acquire experience in oral advocacy, practical legal problem-solving skills as well as oral proficiency that will impress future employers. Participation to the Jean-Pictet International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition will also be a great addition to your CV, especially if you are intending to go into the field of Public International Law. Taking part in the Jean-Pictet International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition will present a great possibility to meet and network with people from all over the world. Through participation you will be able to gain a great experience that will remain with you for the rest of your life.


Requirements:
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Motivated and capable of teamwork
• Interest in International Law in general and International Humanitarian Law specifically
• Good knowledge of Public International Law or Humanitarian Law will be an asset
