Nuremberg Moot Court

This moot court focuses on international criminal law issues and takes place in the remarkable courtroom 600 at the Palace of Justice. Students are provided with a fictitious case to be pleaded before the International Criminal Court. Students have therefore the opportunity to develop their written skills by preparing the memoranda and also their oratory skills by pleading before the fictitious court in Nuremberg. Since 2018, a university team has had the chance to participate. This year’s competition will take place in 24-27 July, and the case focuses on the crime against humanity of enforced disappearances.
