Lectures

Due to the movement of Prof. Pfeiffer to the University of Stuttgart, the course offerings will be limited in the coming semesters.

In the chair’s classes, we teach skills in quantitative data analysis and empirical research. We try to pick up current contents and trends as well as new technologies. The contents of the classes are usually deepened in practical examples, in exercises and larger projects individually or in teams. Our goal is to provide students with the best possible education for the job market while inspiring them for research at the same time.

Our lectures cover topics such as e-commerce, digitalization, data science, experimental research, operations management, user assistance systems and consumer decisions. The master's classes are located in particular at the interface between information systems and marketing.
