Collaboration

In collaboration with hessenARCHÄOLOGIE, we carry out archaeological field research projects, eg. our survey project in the area of the Roman forts of Inheiden (since 2018), and an excavation project at the necropolis of the Arnsburg fort at the Northern Wetterau Limes. Our students are actively involved in the campaigns - in the field as well as in the evaluation of the find material.

We collaborate with the Archaeological Institute of Universidad de Cordoba (Spain) within the framework of an Erasmus partnership (student and employee exchange). Further information on the Erasmus partnerships of the JLU.
