Measures for technology transfer
With Reichholzhausen Castle, the JLU has an ideal location. Project meetings and training courses can be suitable here. In addition to the bilateral industrial and universityversitätstreffen is planned to hold a one-day scientific workshop on the advances in coating technology in the second half of the project.
Disposal plan
The R&D results should be used in three different ways after the development work has been completed:
- Licensing: The JLU operates an open policy, which means that the 2DIBS technology can be licensed by interested vacuum system manufacturers.
- Innovation platform: At JLU, new layers are developed and tested on behalf of customers as part of third-party funded projects.
- Training: Together with licensees, user training can be developed and service staff trained.
