Functional Inorganic, Hybrid and Molecular Materials: Sustainable Chemistry and Energy
In the Kieslich research group, we focus on the synthesis and structural chemistry of functional inorganic, organic-inorganic hybrid, and molecular materials. The main focus of our research is sustainable chemistry as well as energy conversion and storage. Current research topics include:
- Piezoelectric and ferroelectric sensing and energy conversion
- High-pressure X-ray diffraction of "soft" materials
- Barocalorics as an alternative cooling technology
- Complexity analysis of (molecular) solids and interfaces
