Advanced Materials

From high-performance batteries and efficient solar cells to high-tech materials used in aerospace – modern functional materials are shaping our future. In our Advanced Materials degree programmes (Bachelor’s and Master’s), you will learn how to specifically modify material characteristics and optimise them for demanding applications.

In the Bachelor’s programme, you will acquire a solid grounding in chemistry, physics and mathematics, supplemented by laboratory work and projects focusing on materials production, analysis and sustainability. In the research-oriented Master’s programme, you will deepen your knowledge, specialise in areas such as high-performance materials or energy materials, and begin contributing to cutting-edge research.

You can find more information about Advanced Materials here.
