Do you want to understand life in all its facets – from tiny bacteria to complex ecosystems? At Faculty 08 of Justus Liebig University Giessen, we combine sound knowledge with practical research.
The Bachelor's programme in Biology provides you with comprehensive insight into botany, zoology, genetics and many other disciplines. Laboratory exercises and excursions allow you to experience biological processes first-hand.
The Master's programme in Biology offers you the opportunity to specialise individually – for example in molecular biology, ecology, evolution and conservation, or biomedicine. You will work on current research projects and be optimally prepared for a doctorate or demanding positions in science, conservation, education and industry.
