Prerequisites for participation

Effective participation and successfull passing of the exams in the modules Molecular Phytopathology (MK-057-EN) and Plant Protection and Bioengeneering (MK-015-EN) are prerequisites for participation in the lab courses. Since both lab courses have an enrollment limit, the grade point average from both of the above modules will determine who will be allowed to participate in the lab courses! This can only be done after the exams from the first exam period of both modules have been evaluated, i.e. the selection of participants for MP-076 is usually done in the week before the first lab cours! Participants will be informed by e-mail and asked for feedback to confirm their participation. If no feedback is received, the place in the course will be offered to another student.
Students of higher semesters will be preferred in the selection process!

Registration for the modules

Registration for both modules is done via StudIP.
For both modules, a "preliminary" list of participants is activated initially, in which interested students can register during the regular registration period of FB09 (approx. mid-September to mid-October).
If there are still students who would like to register for one of the lab courses after this registration period, please send an e-mail to Susanne.Habermehl

Registration for exams

For both modules there is no exam registration via FlexNow!
Since the final decision about participation is made only shortly before the start of the internship, these students will be registered for the examination at the beginning of the first week of the internship by us at the examination office and the grades will be reported to the examination office after completion of the internship and successful examination.

Further information on the lab course modules

Both lab courses take place as block courses during the lecture-free period between winter and summer semester (approx. mid/end of February to mid/end of March). The duration of both courses is 2 weeks.
