Grundlehrgang Klauenpflege meets ATF
Teaching language: German. The aim of the one-week basic course is to get you started in professional hoof care. In the theoretical part you will learn the basics of hoof anatomy, the most important hoof diseases and how to recognize lameness. You will be introduced to functional hoof care in practice. Under supervision, you will perform hoof care (including dressing) on a live animal and also practice knife sharpening, gluing blocks and tool knowledge.
