The advanced course (Aufbaukurs) is designed for second-year PhD candidates. We will cover various reading and writing practices that will help you advance your project, including structuring your dissertation, keeping track of new readings and research, and editing your work. This course emphasizes the student's own writing, with a particular focus on the introduction. The course provides support for questions about thematic difficulties and reserves time for freewriting exercises, editing, and feedback.
