The CHE's training programs are primarily aimed at employees in scientific management. The CHE offers symposia, conferences and workshops as well as the program "University Course - Training for Scientific Management". In doing so, it supports executives and academic as well as administrative staff at universities and scientific institutions in pursuing their tasks at increasingly autonomous universities.

The seminar program of the German University Association (DHV) is primarily aimed at scientists as well as scientific managers and covers the topics of qualification and career, application training and appointment procedures, professorships, self-organization and leadership, third-party and research funding, university management and communication as well as university teaching.
Lectures, workshops and discussions tailored to the specific requirements of scientists and scientific managers impart practical knowledge and concrete solutions.

The International DAAD Academy (iDA) is a working unit within the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). It is responsible for imparting knowledge and acquiring competences regarding internationalization. All seminars and courses aim at professionalizing internationalization and thus support German universities and their staff in realizing the process of internationalization. IDA events range from seminars to workshops in which topics are elaborated individually to interactive language and intercultural training.
