EU and International Research Funding

The EU Unit of the Staff Division Research (and Graduate Studies) serves as the central contact point for JLU researchers seeking funding from the European Union or other international funding organizations. It provides individual advice on EU funding lines and programs—both during initial orientation discussions and for specific project proposals.

The service is available to all university staff and particularly supports the selection of appropriate funding instruments, the interpretation of calls for proposals, and questions regarding application procedures and administrative implementation.

Researchers receive answers and support for the following questions, among others:

  • Which EU or international funding program is suitable for my project?
  • What does the preparation and application process involve?
  • What support is available regarding the administrative handling of the application submission?
  • Which forms are relevant for my application?
  • Which guidelines must I take into account?
