in the context of Prof. Dr. V. Velupillai's seminar "Data Collection and Analysis: An Introduction to Scots English".

Bruce Eunson is a poet, film maker and Scots Language co-ordinator (Education Scotland). He will be talking about his short film "Dis Quiet", which tells the story of the Shetland poet Samuel Laurenson and his reflections when translating an unpublished manuscript into the Shetland dialect. Bruce will also be discussing issues relating to culture and identity and their interplay with the use of Shetland dialect.
