In a comprehensive review of current academic wisdom, SDGnexus Network associates Sarah Robinson and Martin Petrick point out key areas for further research on animal husbandry in Central Asia. In the newly released study, they show where current livestock trends may lead to conflicts in achieving the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. A companion publication suggests an outline and material for a training module on the same topic.
17.02.2021 - SDGnexus Network launches new Working Paper Series to disseminate findings quickly
With the goal of making research findings quickly available to the public and engaging in ongoing debates, the SDGnexus Network established a new publication format. The first two volumes of the SDGnexus Network Working Papers (WPs) focus on the sustainability trade-offs in the livestock sector of Central Asia, one of the Network’s two focus regions.
